Verse 5 As homeward He carried His lost one again.
        Love of God so pure and changeless, I marvelled how gently
        Blood of Christ so rich, so free, Grace of God so His burden He bore; And, as He passed by me,
        strong and boundless, Magnify it all in me. I knelt to adore.
        Even me, even me,
        Magnify it all in me. 5/5 O shepherd, good Shepherd,
        HOME                                                    Thy wounds they are deep;
        173 Turn your eyes upon Jesus The wolves have sore hurt Thee,
        Verse 1                                                 In saving Thy sheep;
        O soul, are you weary and troubled? Thy raiment all over
        No light in the darkness you see? There's light         With crimson is dyed;
        for a look at the Saviour, and life more abundant And what is this rent
        and free! 1/3 They have made in Thy side?

        Chorus Ah me! How the thorns
        Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Have entangled Thy hair,
        Look full in His wonderful face, And cruelly riven
        And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,        That forehead so fair;
        In the light of His glory and grace. How feebly Thou drawest
                                                                Thy faltering breath;
        Verse 2 And lo, on Thy face
        Thro' death into life everlasting he passed, and Is the shadow of death.
        we follow him there; over us sin no more has
        dominion for more than conquerors we are! O shepherd, good Shepherd!
        2/3 And is it for me
                                                                This grievous affliction Has fallen on thee?
        Chorus Ah, then let me strive,
        Turn your eyes upon Jesus, For the love Thou hast borne, To give Thee no
        Look full in His wonderful face, longer Occasion to mourn!
        And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, HOME
        In the light of His glory and grace. 175 Lord, Thy word abideth
                                                                Verse 1
        Verse 3 Lord, Thy word abideth,
        His word shall not fail you, he promised; believe       And our footsteps guideth;
        him and all will be well: then go to a world that Who its truth believeth
        is dying, his perfect salvation to tell! 3/3 Light and joy receiveth. 1/6

        Chorus                                                  Verse 2
        Turn your eyes upon Jesus, When our foes are near us,
        Look full in His wonderful face, Then Thy word doth cheer us,
        And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, Word of consolation,
        In the light of His glory and grace. Message of salvation. 2/6

        174 I met the good Shepherd Verse 3

        I met the good Shepherd When the storms are o'er us,
        But now on the plain, And dark clouds before us,
