 CPC Pharmacy closing
effective May 6
Adventist Health Castle closed the Castle Professional Center (CPC) Pharmacy on May 6, 2020, due to lower demands related to COVID-19. Currently, the medical center is unsure of a reopening date.
Castle is contacting all CPC pharmacy patients to notify them of the closure and is arranging to have their prescriptions filled at another pharmacy of their choice. The last full day for filling prescriptions will be Monday, May 4 (except for refills, which will be transferred out).
Emergency requests will be considered as Castle processes transfer of operations and supplies on Tuesday, May 5.
On the Cover
On Wednesday, April 22 fifty bright blue beams, one for each state in the United States, illuminated O‘ahu’s skies to honor first responders and other essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Hawai’i Stage and Lighting organized the event and contacted lighting companies like Hawai’i Events Unlimited and Twilight Audio who came out to light up Castle’s Norfolk Pine tree.
“Our inspiration was from New York City and various cities around the country where people in our industry who’ve been hit so hard, in the lighting and entertainment industry, decided to show tribute to others out there who are first responders, essential workers, people who are stocking our food and taking care of our kupuna,” said Kalani Rodrigues, vice president of Hawai‘i Stage and Lighting Rentals.
Mahalo to lighting technicians (from left) Noah Akin, Chris Childress, Marvin Ventura and Hanson Nguyen. who created such a beautiful tribute.
