Brian Kay
Director of Supply Chain
In October, Brian Kay joined Adventist Health Castle as Director of Supply Chain. Prior to coming to Castle, Brian was the Manager
of Strategic Sourcing and Contracting at Adventist Health in Roseville. In 2014 Brian joined the Adventist Health team as a Senior Analyst in Supply Chain Shared Services
and transitioned into Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Contracting in 2016.
“We are excited for the knowledge and experience he will bring to our Adventist Health Castle team,” said Heidar Thordarson, Finance Officer.
Rachel Dick
Director of Quality Resources & Clinical Information Systems
Rachel Dick, Clinical Denials Specialist, accepted the role of Director of Quality Resources and Clinical Information Systems, which became effective November 17.
Rachel joined the Castle team in 2006
as a staff nurse in the operating room. In 2009, she was promoted to the role of Perioperative Clinical Manager. After three years she transitioned into the SurgiNet Coordinator role, then became Castle’s Clinical Denials Specialist.
“We are excited and confident Rachel
will provide quality leadership as our new director,” Patient Care Executive Erik Anderson said in making the announcement.
Joni Freitas
Pharmacy Director
Joni Freitas, Pharmacy Manager, has accepted the role of Pharmacy Director.
Joni joined Adventist Health Castle in 2007 as a Staff Pharmacist, later transitioning to Clinical Pharmacist before her current role as Pharmacy Manager.
“With Joni’s 12 years of dedicated service to Castle, we are confident in her abilities as she takes on her new leadership role,” Erik Anderson, Patient Care Executive, when he made the announcement.
