Together Empowered: 2019 Engagement & Culture of Safety Surveys
As in past years, AH Castle is providing some great prizes to encourage your survey participation. We will be holding four drawings with $600 Hawaiian Air gift cards up for grabs. Here are the details:
Sept. 12, Drawing #1: All associates
in departments that reach 80 percent participation or higher in the first three days will be eligible for the drawing. If
your department reaches 80 percent participation in both surveys by the drawing date the associates in those departments will have their names entered twice.
Subsequent drawings will have the same rules, but with increasing participation levels each time as follows:
Sept. 16, Drawing #2: For 85 percent participation or higher.
Sept. 23, Drawing #3: For 90 percent participation or higher.
Oct. 1, Drawing #4: For 95 percent participation or higher.
Get ready! You will receive separate email invitations from Gallup and from Press Ganey to take the surveys on September 9. Your feedback is extremely important and greatly impacts the direction of this organization. Watch your email for more information coming soon!

From September 9-30, we'll be conducting the 2019 Engagement & Culture of Safety surveys, to better understand how you feel
about working at Castle. The survey results will serve as a snapshot into the team's level of engagement and quality of safety culture.
This year, the survey will include both the engagement survey and the culture of safety survey. It launches on September
9 and will remain open until October 2.
All associates, hired prior to August 1,
are invited to take both surveys this year, regardless of their role. We would love to get 85 percent participation to ensure that each associate is empowered to share their voice. If you have any questions regarding this year surveys, please visit our FAQ page.
Last year’s Hawai‘ian Air gift card winners got to do some amazing travel. One visited Japan for the first time; and Vi Ngo, Pharmacy, (pictured here) took her family to Disneyland.
Virginia Okamoto, MBA, Physician Talent Advisor
Virginia Okamoto joined Adventist Health Castle in July as Physician Talent Advisor.
Virginia’s love and passion for provider and patient experience has led her to recruiting physicians and healthcare professionals. Most recently, Virginia served as provider relations and business resource for one of Hawai‘i’s physician-led entities. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and has worked in recruitment, client relations, business management and operations. She comes to Castle with over
