Dear fellow Mississippi independent dealers,
Another tax season has come and gone, and I hope it was great for you. The
summer months are a great time to evaluate our business processes to find areas
for improvement and opportunity. Henry Ford once said, “Thinking is the hardest
work there is, which is probably the reason so few engage in it.”

Temperatures are rising, which means we are getting closer to our annual
convention in Biloxi!

We are busy planning a convention packed with education, entertainment, and
fellowship at the beautiful Beau Rivage Resort and Casino on August 5-7. Our
registration link is live and can be found at https://msiada.org/events. Don’t forget
to make your hotel reservations directly through the MIADA link! It’s going to be
a blast!

Our newly formed PAC has been watching the state legislature intently so that we
can be ready to protect the interests of our member dealers. You can look forward
to hearing a report on our PAC at the convention this year. Our association will
continue to advocate for independent dealers in our state.
Remember, we are stronger together! If you would like to be involved in our
association’s work, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Tony Lawler or me. There
are many ways to serve. I look forward to seeing you in Biloxi, MS in August!
