Key Terms
Client: Refers to the individual in receipt of the services of Ranger Home Care Ltd for the provision of care. The person, firm or company who purchase the services of Ranger Home Care Ltd either as the client directly or person acting on behalf of. As client you are personally bound by the terms of this contract. As client you have the capacity to sign this contract.
Client Representative: The person who agrees to pay our Fees and any additional costs on behalf of the client. You agree to notify us immediately if your representation ceases to be valid and if any replacement should be deemed necessary.
Carer: The person introduced by Ranger Home Care Ltd to provide services to the client/clients.
Commencement Date: the date agreed for provision of the services, of the Carer to begin, care.
Contract: This document, containing all the agreed terms and conditions, setting out the provisions as agreed by the parties as set out herein. In addition, the handbook, and the Personalised client’s care plan, on Pass System.
CQC: The Care Quality Commission, the national body which regulates our service.
Services: The care services provided by Ranger Home Care Ltd under the terms of this Contract and as set out in the personalised client’s care plan available on PASS system.
Permanent Engagement Fee: This fee may apply should you employ Ranger Home Care Ltd staff directly in accordance with terms contained within this contract and is also referred to as an introduction fee.
VAT: Value Added Tax and similar additional taxes are currently exempt from Ranger Home Care Ltd, under English Law.
In Writing: A reference to in writing or written shall include faxes and emails. Words in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
Interpretation: Condition, schedule and paragraph headings shall not affect the interpretation of this contract. In the event of a conflict of terms within this contract and terms contained in any other document, the terms of this contract will take precedence.
