As Grace’s prepubescent confusion and terror gave way to teen angst and later to
acute discomfort and low self-esteem in her college years, she decided she would
use her anger to focus on her education, career and business and propel herself
forward. It’s a principal that those who’ve grasped it, have used to rise in life. Anger
has fueled the greatest revolutions and most remarkable achievements.
So how can you, the up-coming entrepreneur, use your anger today?
Get Up
If you’ve been wallowing in self-pity and allowing sadness and lethargy to get the
best of you, shake it off. Getting up and fighting back feelings of low self-esteem
and despair is the best way to ignite a change you never thought possible. Are you
tired of depending on others? Are you tired of waiting for recognition? Are you sick
and tired of being treated poorly? Get up.
Visualise
Recollect your mental prowess and make a decision that you will prepare yourself
in every way possible to achieve what you want. Your mindset has to be right and
determination and vision have to be your constant companions everywhere you
go and in everything you do. Perhaps like Grace, you have been knocked about
by life. Perhaps the world has taken everything from you. Remember that there’s
something it can never take: Your willpower to make the impossible possible.
Glove Up
Any boxing great will tell you that preparation starts before they enter the ring and
continues right until the moment they take their first swing. Start preparing by
saving up, networking, prowling your social media for like-minded individuals and
connecting yourself with business heavyweights who you can contact and pitch
your ideas to. Invest an hour or more each day into turning your vision into a
reality.
Rip Into It
Fight back; not with fists, recklessness or poorly thought-out actions and reactions.
Fight back with a well-defined strategy to pursue success. Use your anger to stretch
your mental prowess and imagination to horizons they have never been before. Few
good things come easy or without sacrifice and obstacles. For you the entrepreneur,
the choice is simple-to permit anger and your perceived failures to destroy you or
to turn them into tools that can propel you forward to remarkable success.
