make the most of this trend. The USAID Energy Security Project (PEB) is assisting the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine in developing a National Hydrogen Strategy by supporting the reform and modernization of the gas market. Successful development of the hydrogen economy can bring significant benefits to Ukraine, including:
● increased energy security by reducing dependence on natural gas
● attracting direct foreign investment
● strengthening European integration by promoting regional and
international cooperation
● heavy industry decarbonization and ensuring the country's future

Ukraine receives 300 generators from Europe. Farid Safarov reported that 33 Ukrainian energy companies have received equipment from European counterparts to restore electricity supply. Safarov also encouraged companies to assist Ukraine in rebuilding its power infrastructure.
Zelenskyy has signed a law providing guarantees for hybrid system installation for Ukrhydroenergo electricity production. The installation of systems to provide 212 MW of electricity storage and expand the ability of Ukrhydroenergo (UHE) to provide ancillary services for frequency regulation and recovery through a joint hybrid mode of operation of storage systems and hydropower plants is envisaged. The law allows UHE to further implement efforts to increase the energy system’s sustainability for integration with the European power grid and create additional high-maneuverability and high-speed reserves, which have no analogs in the unified energy system, to improve the quality of electricity that is produced. The project's primary goal is to ensure further stability, security, and reliability of the Unified Energy System of Ukraine and to meet the requirements of ENSTO-E regarding the frequency maintenance reserve in the UES.
The restoration of a power line will increase Ukraine's export potential.
Replacing the overhead transmission line between Ukraine and Poland will increase Ukraine's export potential by at least a quarter, said Ukrenergo Chairman Volodymyr Kudrytskyi. "We will revive the once existing line, which will work synchronously. Therefore, all market participants will have access to it. And this line can increase our export potential by a quarter or a third," said Kudrytsky. He explained that the export of electricity to Poland is currently going through only a specific line for a particular region. Ukrenergo expects that the operation of this transmission line will be resumed within a year.
ENTSO-E has agreed to the expansion of electricity exports from Ukraine. Network operators from the European transmission system ENTSO-E have given a positive response to Ukrenergo's request to resume electricity export from Ukraine, reported State Energy company Ukrenergo. According to the company, in order to start a gradual increase in the net capacity for exporting, it is necessary to meet six technical prerequisites to secure approval by the CE working group. Ukraine's energy system is currently operating in a trial emergency synchronization mode, and export-import operations with EU counterparties are not taking place. However, both the Ukrainian and European sides are considering a gradual, mutually beneficial increase in electricity export. Ukrenergo expects that the export of Ukrainian
