Wheat prices in the Black Sea and Canada have soared to their highest levels in months at the end of May due to adverse weather conditions and crop reductions in the Black Sea region, S&P Global reports.
The spike follows cold weather and frosts in Russia since early May, severely damaging wheat crops and lowering production estimates for the 2024-25 marketing year.
