Technical assistance to Russia for aviation goods and technology will be allowed insofar as it is needed to safeguard the technical industrial standard setting work of the International Civil Aviation Organization. We do not know the exact impact for Aeroflot. If technical assistance covers maintenance of Airbus produced aircrafts, it will be a positive development for Aeroflot as well as flight reliability and safety. Its too early to expect easing of sanctions, however some positive developments may come up. Overall, we think that the market is watching closely for such signals (as seen in yesterday’s spike in price), but fundamental story requires clarity, which is absent at this stage.

Rental prices in the capital of Ukraine have dropped. Prices for renting apartments in Kyiv decreased by 56% from February 24 to the beginning of July, according to the Bird rental app. According to its analytics, as of July 12, the median rental price for one-room apartments in the capital is UAH 8,000 ($230), which is 38% less than February prices. Median prices for renting two-room apartments decreased from UAH 21,600 ($620) in February to UAH 12,600 ($360), or by 42%’ three-room apartments - from UAH 46,100 ($1320), to UAH 20,500 ($585) in June, by 56% . However, in general, there is a stabilization of prices, they have not changed significantly since the beginning of summer. At the same time, the number of ad views in July is higher than in June.
