Ukraine plans to insure vessels that pass through the grain corridor.Ukraine has insured all merchant vessels that export and import goods through the Danube ports and is considering insuring ships that will pass through the grain corridor, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said. "Ukraine has already insured all merchant ships exporting and importing goods through the Danube ports. Now the government of Ukraine is discussing the possibility of insuring ships and companies involved in exporting grains through the grain corridor," Shmyhal added. "There is high risk associated with exporting grain through the seaports, as the Russians can try to sink any merchant ship. Therefore, of course, the support of partners is needed so that this does not happen. But for our part, we insure such risks at the expense of our budget," the prime minister added.

Ukraine's logistics infrastructure is on the verge of collapse: 25% of bridges are in critical condition. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, 24% of Ukrainian bridges are completely or partially unusable. The government will publish information on estimated documentation on the Unified State Electronic System's portal regarding construction, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said. "From now on, when uploading a construction project into the system, a detailed estimated cost is mandatory," the minister explained. He added that information about this can be found in the relevant section of the electronic system. According to the head of the Infrastructure Reconstruction and Development Agency, Mustafa Nayem, everyone can check and compare the prices of materials, the cost of the equipment involved, and the costs of projects under development by any government customer. As a result, this should increase transparency for state contractors, project organizations, and expertise.
