electricity exchange in 2024, the Hungarian energy ministry announced on December 7. The regional integration will strengthen Hungary's energy independence, improve the regional security of supply and ensure competitive prices.
The Slovenian government announced in October that energy price regulation will be extended into 2024 to assist households in reducing their costs.
This measure will impose a cap on electricity prices for 90% of consumption throughout the entirety of 2024, while the cap on gas prices will be in effect during the heating season. Furthermore, the ceiling on household natural gas prices will be maintained until the conclusion of April, coinciding with the end of the heating season in Slovenia. The approved upper limit for gas for residential use will be €59.9 per MWh until 2024.
