The enterprise's capacity will be 2.7mn tonnes per year (tpy). It will use technologies based on electric arc furnaces and secondary raw materials, including scrap, pig iron and direct recovery iron, which will be supplied by Ukraine. The programme agreement, which will define specific actions, will be signed before the beginning of 2025.

In 2023, financial and industrial groups in Ukraine earned almost UAH6 trillion. 23,300 companies that are part of Ukrainian financial and industrial groups (FIG) and submitted financial statements for 2023 collectively earned UAH5.8 trillion, according to a YouControl study. As of October, official data records more than 2,000 FIGs, uniting 38,500 Ukrainian and 26,000 foreign companies. At the same time, only 15,800 enterprises had a positive turnover in 2023. The most significant turnover, UAH12.1bn, among real estate companies was generated by the Tehrempostavka company. In the wholesale trade sector, Metinvest-SMC produced the largest turnover, UAH40.7bn. The most successful among agricultural companies was Vinnytsia Poultry Farm with UAH39.2bn in turnover. Avtostrada reported UAH8.1bn, the highest turnover among construction companies. Among the transport and logistics sector companies, the most successful was Nova Poshta, with an indicator of UAH36.5bn. The most successful retail company was ATB-Market with UAH181.1bn. In the oil and gas sector, first place went to OKKO-Express with UAH61.7bn.
Ukraine expects to re-open one airport by the end of January 2025. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy insists that Boryspil International Airport will be opened first. Ukraine is "95%" ready to resume commercial flights, but the key remaining factor is to ensure the safety of passengers, Communities and Territories Development Minister Oleksii Kuleba said on November 21.

The transit of Russian oil through the Ukrainian section of the Druzhba
oil pipeline in September expanded by 37% to 1.06mn tonnes.
Ukraine is not an important transit route for Russian piped oil to Europe but a strategically important route for countries in Central Europe that are served by the Druzhba pipeline.
According to analysts, except for record volumes in July, the transit of Russian oil in September was the largest since January of this year. Most Russian oil went to Slovakia in September – almost a half million tonnes, the same amount
