According to multiple Western sources, the area in Moscow also houses the Russian Foreign Military Intelligence, known as the GRU, which carries out cyber activities. It’s also near the Russian Ministry of defence’s National defence Management Center. Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin also said two non-residential buildings were damaged but that there were no reports of casualties. In Crimea, the Russia-installed governor said a Ukrainian drone strike hit an ammunition depot, though air defences downed 11 drones. The Russians attacked the Danube port of Reni on Monday night. The port of Reni was damaged as a result of another Russian
attack on Odesa's infrastructure during the night of July 24, said Reni regional official Ihor Plekhov. According to him, about 15 Shaheed strike drones were detected in the port area, and residents of Reni and surrounding villages heard a series of explosions. As a result of the Russian attack, three grain warehouses were destroyed. The blast wave damaged the windows of buildings and structures at the enterprise. The Southern Air Command also reported that the enemy attack on the night of July 24 was aimed at the port infrastructure on the Danube. Romanian mass media reported that an explosion occurred in the port of Reni due to shelling in the Odesa region, located on the Danube's left bank, 200 metres from the border with Romania.

Since January of 2023, no matter how much Russians have tried to advance, they have not gained any territories except for Bakhmut, where they temporarily took some territory but soon lost it to Ukraine. "They never took full control of the city, but also can't get out of there either. The enemy cannot advance, no matter what forces he uses. They threw out a lot of equipment, weapons, and many people, who died in big numbers. The months-long battle for Bakhmut was most costly for them, and they achieved nothing. Therefore, when we say that the fighting is going on or that there is no progress in this direction, it does not mean that nothing is happening there," said Deputy Minister of defence Hanna Malyar. The deputy minister noted that the effectiveness of the defence Forces is measured not only by the territory they retake or the number of liberated settlements. Another criterion she notes is the number of destroyed enemy personnel, the number of pieces of equipment, and places of compact concentration of the Russian military.
