LNG supply
Beach Energy has finalised an agreement to supply LNG to BP, as it seeks to diversify its commodity pricing exposure and capitalise on high gas prices.
On hold
India has temporarily halted talks to secure a 1mn tonne per year LNG deal with Qatar.
Contracts terminated
Singapore’s Keppel said last week that it had terminated three contracts with separate customers, relating to construction of two rigs and a liftboat.
Higher profit
Japan’s Inpex raised its profit forecast for the whole of 2022 by 17% this week after seeing its earnings increase in the first half of the year.
