The company believes that the UDP plant in Kiliya is one of the few in the country that continues to repair and build ships. Therefore, it is an option for the creation of a shipbuilding facility on a national scale. "The plant is located 47 kilometers from the Black Sea. We have equipment, an experienced team of more than 300 specialists, our water area, infrastructure (out of the 19 hectares of the plant's territory, we use only 9 hectares)," the UDP noted. The company added that there are already several proposals from foreign companies for joint production. Moreover, shipbuilders from the Baltic countries may become the first residents of the industrial park. Thus, the UDP plans to propose investment opportunities in modern equipment production and an autonomous green energy supply system at the Ukraine Rebuilding Conference in Berlin in order to conduct dredging of its water area.
