       5.2.1 Import/export dynamics
    Agricultural product export increased by 12% in July. In July 2022, Ukraine exported 3mn tonnes of agricultural products through alternative routes. This is 12% more than the previous month, the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business reported. The export structure in July was as follows:
● grain crops: 1.7mn tonnes (corn – 69%, wheat – 22%, barley – 9%). Growth compared to the previous month: 21%;
● oil crops – 597,200 tonnes (sunflower seeds - 61%, rapeseed - 19%, soybean - 9%). The decline from the previous month: 7%.
● vegetable oils – 297,100 tonnes (sunflower oil – 94%, soybean oil – 5%). Unchanged from the previous month.
● Oilseed cakes after extraction of vegetable oils – 185,900 tonnes (sunflower – 85%, soybean – 15%). Growth: 34% from the previous month.
Grain crops showed the most significant growth, the export of which increased by almost 300,000 tonnes over the month.
Ukraine has carved out a path for international grain exports.The starting point will be the Chornomorsk port, which will be followed by the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi in southwestern Ukraine. This gives Ukraine options if Russia continues to strike Odesa
The export of Ukrainian dairy products increases by 32%. In the first half of 2022, Ukrainian dairy product exporters had to adapt to the new wartime working conditions: most logistics routes underwent changes, and production and processing in some regions were suspended or destroyed due to military actions. However, Ukrainian dairy product producers are trying to increase trade abroad. In the second quarter of 2022, the total volume of dairy product exports for April, May, and June amounted to 21,9000 tons, which is only 3% less than in the same period last year. According to UKAB, the growth of Ukrainian milk and dairy exports was also seen in June. In total, 9,300 tons of dairy products were exported over the last month, which is 32% more than in May. The largest importing countries were Poland, Moldova, and Lithuania.
