     Netherlands will supply the air defense systems to Ukraine, according to a letter from Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren to the Dutch House of Representatives, reported NOS news organization.
Netherlands to consider supplying Ukraine with F-16 aircraft. The Dutch government will look into providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets if Kyiv asks for it, NL Times reported, citing the country's Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra. During a parliamentary debate on Jan. 19, Hoekstra said that the Dutch Cabinet would consider such a request with an "open mind."
Defense Ministry denies buying food for soldiers at inflated prices. Ukrainian news outlet ZN.UA reported on Jan. 21 that the Defense Ministry purchases food for the military at prices between two and three times higher than those at Kyiv grocery stores.

Some Ukrainian state officials and businesspeople have routinely abused this system and bypassed the restrictions.
Zelensky signs law increasing consequences for desertion. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on Jan. 24 strengthening the criminal liability of military personnel for desertion or the failure to comply with combat orders.

   Most Ukrainians are not ready for any territorial concessions to achieve peace. This position is held by 85% of respondents, according to a study by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. Correspondingly, only 8% believe that achieving peace and preserving independence necessitate surrendering some territories. In September 2022, 87% considered the concessions unacceptable, which is consistent with the current indicators. At that time, 8% favored negotiations and were ready to give up certain territories. However, the share of those who do not support territorial concessions is slightly higher than the figure as of May 2022. Currently, even among residents of east Ukraine, where intense fighting continues, 80% are against concessions (for them only 9%), and among residents of the southern regions, 82% are against concessions while only 10% are ready for concessions.
Record 86% of Ukrainians support joining NATO. Meanwhile, 87% of Ukrainians are currently in favor of their country's aspiration to join the European Union, according to a new poll by the Rating Group.
There were 3.6mn people in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv in December, which is only 200,000 less than before the start of Russia’s special military operation, the city’s Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said.
