disposal of Vedomosti), it was previously noted that in 2022 gas production could drop to 710-711bcm. m, or about 7%. In May, the Ministry of Economic Development predicted gas production in 2022 at the level of 702.4–720.9bcm. m. In August, Reuters, citing documents from the Ministry of Economics, reported that gas production in 2022 would amount to 710.9bcm. m.
Gas exports from Russia dropped sharply after the start of the NWO in Ukraine. According to Vedomosti calculations based on data from the European Network of Gas Transmission System Operators (ENTSOG), at the end of November 2022, Russia supplied the European Union (EU) on average 76–77mn cubic metres. m of gas per day against 368-377mn cubic metres. m at the end of November 2021 The main route for the supply of Russian pipeline gas to the EU is now transit through the gas transmission system of Ukraine (on average 42-43mn cubic metres per day). The rest is exported to the EU via Turkish Stream. Gas supplies via Nord Stream were completely stopped at the end of August, exports via the Yamal-Europe pipeline have not actually been carried out since the end of 2021, and Nord Stream 2, completed last fall, has not been launched. On September 26, it became known that two lines of Nord Stream and one of the two lines of Nord Stream 2 were damaged as a result of sabotage in the exclusive economic zones of Denmark and Sweden.
Gazprom produced 376.9bcm in 11 months m of gas, which is 19.4%, or 90.8bcm. m, less than for the same period in 2021, the company reported on December 1. The monopoly called the decline in consumption in the European Union (EU) the key factor in reducing demand for gas. Demand in the domestic market over this period decreased by 5.7%, Gazprom reported. Deliveries of pipeline gas (the company has a monopoly right to sell it abroad) to non-CIS countries, i.e. to Europe, Turkey and China, amounted to 95.2bcm. m - 44.5% less than a year earlier.
At the same time, according to the statistics of the Ministry of Energy, gas production by Rosneft (including shares in joint ventures) in January-November increased by 15.2% to 61.8bcm. m. Novatek increased it by 2.1% to 76.3bcm, Gazprom Neft - by 17.1% to 46.4bcm. m. Tatneft's production increased by 8.5% to 835.8mn cubic metres. m.
Of the major independent gas producers, production was reduced by Lukoil (by 0.8% to 18.7bcm), Surgutneftegaz (by 8.9% to 7.6bcm) and the Independent Oil and Gas Company ( by 3.1% to 6.2 bcm). Gas production under production sharing agreements (Sakhalin-1, Sakhalin-2 and Kharyaginskoye PSA projects) decreased by 13% to 22.7bcm. m, the interlocutors of Vedomosti reported.
