Plans to raise teachers’ salaries may be coming soon.The results of the poll are dire: teachers not only receive less money than reported in official statistics, but 30% of teachers aren’t being paid as much as they should be and almost 60% are not compensated for extra or part-time work. Nor does the current bonus system help, because the variable portion of each month’s wage is so large that paychecks vary substantially from month to month.
