Russia is on course to finish 2021 with a strong 4.3% growth before
growth slows to around 2.6% in 2022, according to official forecasts.
The official forecast for growth in 2022 is of 2.5%, rising to 3% in 2023, but considerable uncertainty remains due to the effects of the ongoing pandemic and geopolitical tensions.
Compared with October, the forecast for 2021, 2022 and 2024 remained unchanged according to the CBR’s December survey. The
