Greetings from Laurie French

Graduations are a time of great joy, nostalgia, and pride. They are

a time to remember the accomplishments of the past and reflect
upon the possibilities for the future - and it’s not just the Graduates

who experience this emotion, but also everyone around you - your

teachers and your family. They, too, are excited about your
achievements and what the future offers you.

Graduates, these are unprecedented times, and you are among the
millions of Grade 12 students who will not celebrate graduation in

a traditional way, an iconic rite of passage for every teenager.

Graduations will look different this year, both historic and unique.
Although this may be disappointing, you should remain proud, as

many of you have already successfully navigated challenging

situations thrown your way. You are part of a resilient
community, and not only have you persevered, but you have

learned from this experience. Remain steadfast in the knowledge
that your Limestone education, and the relationships you made

here, the learning you achieved here, and the experiences you had,

will serve you well in the years to come.

Graduates, we wish you all the best as you move into the next

phase of your life.
