Community awareness workshop on

children’s rights

On Tuesday, February 27, a community awareness workshop on children’s rights from social

and psychological perspective was conducted by Dubai Foundation for Women and Children

(DFWAC) at ISC-DXB. DFWAC is the first licensed non-profit organization in the UAE that runs

specifically for the care of women and children. It was established in 2007 to offer immediate

protection and support services for women and children in the UAE against domestic violence,

child abuse and human trafficking. Many parents attended the workshop, asked important

questions and exchanged valuable ideas about children’s rights. We look forward organizing

more events of the sort as we share a common noble goal which is our children’s wellbeing and

happiness.
