Finally, I’m a senior. I have been waiting to be able to say that for so many years but now that
I can, it doesn’t feel the way I thought it would. The time I spent in school was more than the
time I spent at home. Choueifat is a second home to me and my teachers and friends are like
my second family. I thank my parents for making the best choice in putting me in this school,
and my siblings who went through it with me. Without my friends, I would have had many
breakdowns in classes. Without the support of my teachers, I would have failed every exam
I had to sit through. Everyone I have met in school has had an impact on my life and has
taught me lessons I would never forget, and I thank them all for that.
Congratulations to the class of 2018 and I hope only the best for all of you. ~ZAKI

Growing up, graduation was the main thing we all looked forward to. Iron-
ically, as we get closer to graduation, it became the one thing we want to
slow down. However, sooner or later, we all must begin the next chapter of
our lives and I cannot wait to see where everyone will be 10 years from now.
So congratulations, Seniors’ 18. I know it will be hard for us to leave, because
we all feel the need to stay around the people we are most comfortable
with: our teachers who have become our role models, our friends who have
become our support system, and the rest of the staff, who has become our
leaders…all of whom have become our family. With that being said, I owe
many thanks to my parents, teachers, and friends for helping me come this
far and finally make it. Love you all and good luck in your future.
