After a long wait, senior year has come. As much as we all say that we can’t wait to
experience graduation, now that I’m here, I just want to go back in time. Growing up, I
remember complaining about how stressful our school was, and repeatedly mentioning
how excited I was to leave. However, I now realize the true value of what I’m leaving
behind. This school has not only given me so much in terms of memories and education,
but it has also given me some of the most amazing friendships one could ask for. I’d
like to thank my friends, whom I call ‘family’, for everything they’ve done for me. All the
memories we made together will be deeply engraved in my heart. More specifically,
thank you to my best friend, Karl, who has lived next to me for the past 9 years. Last but
not least, I’d like to thank my parents for providing me with everything.... I hope I can
make you proud. I also want to thank my other half, my twin sister, Farah, for letting
me copy her homework when she was asleep and study from her notes. Shoutout to my
Gorillaz.

My nine years in this school have been an incredible journey, and reaching
graduation is truly an accomplishment for all the SEN18RS. Even under
an insane amount of pressure, we never crack. We would like to thank our
teachers... those who guided us since day one and never left us without drill-
ing the material in our heads; our parents and siblings for always standing by
our side and for pushing us to do our best; and the supervisors for reminding
us to reach class before the bell. Shoutout to my friends who laughed with
me before Arabic exams, who cried with me afterwards (i.e. Beiruti), who
dragged me away from anything I was doing (...Nidal), and to Mr. Khatib for
being the sole reason no one failed Grade 11.
