RESEARCH
RESEARCH DEEP DIVE:
> More than 350 peer-reviewed studies, articles and books have been authored in whole or in part by our team ambassadors, and their groundbreaking research programs help other scientists better understand and protect animals in the wild.
> Our parks provide the unique environment that allows our team and independent scientists to better understand marine animals.
> SeaWorld works with universities, state and federal agencies (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration,
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, etc.) and provides access to SeaWorld animals for scientists to learn more about the animals we’re trying to protect.
> The Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute was established in 1963 by Milton Shed, one of the visionary founders of SeaWorld. Today, this non-profit research organization continues to provide innovative solutions to challenges facing ocean health and marine life in our rapidly changing world.
