Through his resurrection,


                                     Jesus became a quickening



                                            [life-giving] spirit—






                                 So it is written [in Scripture],



                                           “The first man, Adam,


                       became a living soul (an individual);”



                                          the last Adam (Christ)


                                       became a life-giving spirit
