Every parent is grieved [offended, aggravated,

or saddened] when their child refuses

to be governed by their rules

and regulations of the home;

disobeys a command; commits a crime;

resist tuff love; rejects advice;

or ignores their presence/voice.

So it is with the Holy Spirit.

It grieves the Holy Spirit when God’s

children are malicious, greedy

and immoral. He is aggravated

when they are full of jealousy,

murder, contention, deceit, and animosity.
