He entered once, for all
into the Holy of holies, and used
the hyssop as he bleeds out the blood
that purifies and atones for the sins
of the world. This last use
of hyssop at the cross
has ended the need for the sprinkle
of sacrificial animal blood to atone for sins.
That was made clear because God
ripped the veil of the temple in half.
