Case In Point

I was a thirtysomething married stay-at-home

mom with three elementary school-age children

of my own. I befriended my neighbor

across the street a twentysomething mother

of an infant and a three year-old toddler

in diapers. And my youngest was seven.

Now, I had been professing salvation

and witnessing about the goodness

of Jesus to my neighbor. She had to work

and was in need of a sitter. One day, she solicited

my services as a reluctant babysitter.

We set the pay, time, and days.
