HE HAS A PROBLEM
This nameless, anonymous, nondescript
leper’s hair and decomposing deformed
body are noticeably white.
The numbness or tingling sensation
caused him to scratch uncontrollably
in the night. This morning he awoke
horrified to find some of his fingers
and toes have fallen off.
He endeavors to push his arms
through the dirty sleeves
of a frayed frock with telltale bells.
