 THE LIGHT IN OUR CHILDREN'S EYES
Can you try to imagine being a child of 6 or 9 years old?
Your head is so noisy, so full of a terrible radio-frequency that just allows all kinds of noises in, making it nearly unbearable. You don`t have any kind of idea what it is, you just feel terribly exhausted just to try to follow all the other children and adults.
You hear what is being said, but you really can`t fgure it out how to answer, what to answer or whom to answer, because your head is so full of all kinds of disturbances.
You try to hold your head between your hands, trying to stop it but it just goes on and on. Continuously during the day and even at night, you can hear disturbing sounds and noises inside your head. These noises can be really annoying and even embarrassing.
At school, you try to listen and try to behave, but it is so diffcult to manage this. You hear what is being said, but as soon as you hear it, it has vanished, even if you really try to catch up.
This situation is very common for many children. They can be very young or teenagers or young grownups.
Most of these young people have always felt this way. So how can they cope with it?

In this way they are trying to survive but this behaviour can get them into serious problems, in school and at home. Relationships with other children, teachers and adults can become extremely diffcult.
Many of these children are very sensitive and they have the feeling that others don’t understand them. Their solution to getting attention is by going ‘crazy’ or acting loud and violent. In this way they are getting attention, although it is in a negative way.
When this behaviour continues and nobody manages to get them settled, the next step is often therapy with a psychologist, endless counselling sessions and fnally medication such as Ritalin to try to "reset" them and to get them quiet and willing to stay calm.
Nearly all these children have ONE thing in common;
Their brain-hemispheres don`t cooperate fully, and that is one of the main
