The 18th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) were held on July 15, 2017 at the iconic MetLife
Stadium in New Jersey. This is the second time that IIFA has traveled to the United States. The dazzling awards show
brought together the biggest names in Bollywood cinema. Stars Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt,
Saif Ali Khan, Karan Johar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan among others were in attendance. High-
light of the evening included the coveted IIFA signature green carpet where the stars walk to greet screaming fans and
media outlets from around the globe. The dynamic duo of Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan hosted the awards. High ener-
gy dance performances from all the A list stars had the audiences at edge of their seats. For the first time in IIFA history,
the award show was broadcast live around the world via various outlets.
