                                                           NEW DIRECTOR OF

                                                           RACKET SPORTS


                                                           We are pleased to announce Daniel McCain has
                                                           joined the Kingsmill team as the new Director of
                                                           Racket Sports. McCain comes to us with over 20
                                                           years of coaching experience in the tennis industry.
                                                           He is the author of How the Tennis Gods Move and
                                                           Functional Training for Tennis.


                                                           A Graduate of the ITF Junior Tennis School, McCain
                                                           is an ATP TOUR Certified Coach through the GPTCA,
                                                           a USTA High Performance Certified Coach, an
                                                           USPTA Elite Professional and a PTR Tester and
                                                           Clinician.  He is also certified in technique through
                                                           Vic Braden’s Tennis College.

                                                           McCain was a USTA Manager of Player
                                                           Development and NCAA Division 1 College Coach
                                                           for seven years, McCain was the Director of Tennis at
                                                           The Higueras-Gorin Tennis Academy and served as
                                                           a USTA National Team Coach in 2015 and 2019, and
                                                           as a coach for Team USA in 2015 and 2016. McCain
                                                           served as the Director of Tennis at the Cavalier Golf
                                                           & Yacht Club in Virginia Beach for over eight years
                                                           and most recently was the Lead Tennis Professional
                                                           at Hollow Rock Racquet & Swim Club in Durham,
                                                           North Carolina.


                                                           As a player, McCain achieved a junior ITF world
                                                           ranking and won both gold and silver balls, winning
                                                           the USTA National Indoor championship and
                                                           reaching the finals of the USTA National Clay Courts.
                                                           He played for the University of Michigan tennis
                                                           team on scholarship where he finished his
                                                           undergraduate degree with concentrations in
                                                           Journalism and Psychology.

                                                           He later graduated from Illinois State University with
                                                           post-graduate studies in graphic design.  He also
                                                           studied at the American Board of Sport Psychology
                                                           in a masters’ level program focusing on

                                                           performance psychology and critical moments in
                                                           competition.
