Continuing the search for a solution to the problem outlined in the previous work, Vanni develops a widespread materiality on which he intervenes a posteriori to highlight the lines of force that determined it. The internal forms share with the rest of the painting the way they are painted, almost as if it is the same material at a different moment of use that defines the whole, making the difference between character and scene disappear.
