MedTrack Alums Join Advisory Board
In a milestone for the program, three MedTrack graduates have joined the MedTrack Advisory Board. Dr. Cameron Marcus ’13, an alumnus of the first MedTrack class, said, “I can say first-hand how much the program helped me in the pursuit of my professional endeavors. As I have followed the program over the years, I have been impressed to see it evolve even better than I could have expected.” Dr. Marcus is joined by Lauren (Gurich) Sarahman, PharmD ’14 and Mary Ellen Wasco, PA-C ’16.
 Cameron Marcus ’13 received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Xavier University and his MD from The University of Toledo. He is currently beginning his career in emergency medicine as a resident physician at Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
   Lauren (Gurich) Sarahman ’14 received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at the University of Toledo. After completing her pharmacy residency at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital, she joined Paramount as a pharmacist.
  Mary Ellen Wasco ’16 attended Duquesne University's five-year Physician Assistant program where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences
and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She is excited to begin her career at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe as a house coverage PA.

Students Give Back
Kaitlin Conner ’16 and Chad Jaenke ’16, both second-year medical students, arranged a plethora of hands-on experiences for MedTrack students at the University of Toledo’s Health Science Campus. The day included touring
the campus, meeting with admissions representatives, visiting the Plastination Museum, intubating mannequins, conducting comprehensive health histories in the SIM Center, observing a craniotomy, and examining adult and fetal cadavers and organs. Chad and Kaitlin were also able to share their personal experiences regarding how to prepare for and apply to med school.
