Senior Retreats
All seniors had the opportunity to participate in a Senior Retreat. Seniors chose from a variety of experiences provided by Campus Ministry. A very popular option was the Leap of Faith Retreat, where seniors were challenged to overcome their fears while completing a high ropes course with ziplines at GoApe in the Cleveland Metroparks. This was one example of the ways in which students were invited to reflect on their experiences at Padua and put their trust in God for the future.
All School Masses and Prayer Experiences
Campus Ministry
focused on providing
more opportunities
for students to pray
together and to
celebrate Mass. The
school gathered as a
community several
times for all-school
Masses. Fr. Marc
Sheckells, ofm celebrated our Opening School Mass for the first time. He, along with Friar Johnpaul Cafiero, ofm, Dcn. Matt Harley and Dcn. Tom Litwinowicz have helped us come together as a community to celebrate the Feasts of St. Francis, All Saints, and Immaculate Conception as
well as the CFO Mass. Friar JP provided daily Mass for students, faculty and
staff. Through theology classes, Campus Ministry offered the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Adoration and Benediction, and a Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer
Service. Before Thanksgiving, theology classes gathered in the Chapel to express gratitude for all the blessings of God.
