Our Club and History
The The senior team competing in in in The The Leinster Senior League won their first LSL title in the 1996/97 season The club continued to progress at all levels and in in 2002 the move was made to the the existing facility in in in Gannon Park Since then present Club Chairman Don Butler has continually aimed to improve the infrastructure and give Malahide United players the the best opportunities by providing the the best facilities possible Indeed in in June 2018 a a a a black tie event was held in in the Grand Hotel Malahide to to raise funds to to install a a a a a a a a second all-weather pitch in in Gannon Park This was followed by an additional fundraiser on on the 21st September 2019 when the Liverpool Legends came to to town and performed on our immaculate grass pitch in in a a a a a a a a a a a challenge game against a a a a a a a a a a a Malahide United selection A crowd of just under 3 000 turned up to watch the match and enjoy some tasty half-time and and post-match eats and and drinks provided by our our in-house caterers’ Gourmet Foods
