It is located around 22kms inland. It's more like a picnic spot, and the road to the site goes through villages and dusty roads. There is a massive tree near the quarry which is used for laying our equipment and for relaxing aier the dive. The sudden drop at 15 meters gives the feeling of diving in a dark cave without an overhead environment.
6. Fishermen’s reef:
• Intro & History
One among the oldest fishermen built reef in Pondicherry. Covering an area of 10 x 10 square meters, this dive site has a variety of marine life which is unique to its own. Coming in contact with Barracudas is a familiar event here. This dive site has varying visibility factors due to its closeness to the harbour mouth, making it only accessible to divers a few 3mes a year.
