12.Fan Garden:
• Intro & History
Deep and breezy, is what Pondicherry's Fan garden is. How many gorgonians does it take to impress you? There is more than that here - big ones too! However, a great cruise at depth through the crevasses and fans. It has a fascina3ng topography covered with huge fan corals in layers of steps star3ng from 32 to 38 meters. Do not let the name fool you as there are many more corals that you can see apart from the abundant fan corals. Lots of whip corals, tube corals and assorted soi corals are also present.

Fan corals! Hence it has been appropriately named “Fan Garden”. Some corals grow to a height of 2 meters and more. It’s part of the bigger dive site named Aravind’s wall.
