a state-of-the-art“Dog Park.”The park is open 7am to sunset. Periodically, the Dog Park needs to be closed for grass cutting, spraying, and other maintenance. Also, the park can be closed during snowstorms or flooding conditions.

MOT Youth Football and Cheerleading League is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 that promotes physical fitness, team spirit, and good sportsmanship. MOT Youth Football serves children ages 4–14 and has teams at every age group to accommodate ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE. The age range for cheerleaders is 4–18 years old.

at the town’s Silver Lake Park adjacent to Silver Lake Elementary School on East Cochran Street. The 40 acres park includes tennis and basketball courts, a skateboard area, walking trails, a swimming pool, playground, soccer fields, picnic areas, and pavilions. The pool is open from the beginning of June through the beginning of September.
