6.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

                      Activity:  Get your family together (as many as possible) and get into a line.  Have the first person
                      in the line whisper this short story into the second person’s ear.  Then have that person whisper
                      it into the next ear and so on.  At the end, have the final person share the sentence.  From this
                      you can see how difficult it is to pass on information from one generation to another without
                      major changes enter into the information.  Here is the short story:


               Kirfer Ng’oma cooked salted salmon for her 20 orphan children who age ranged from 2 to 19.  The boys
               refused to eat it because they did not like fish.   The girls liked salmon and ate their fish and the boy’s
               fish also.  Six of the boys got really angry and yelled at Kirfer Ng’oma.  How many boys are hungry at the
               end of the meal?
