away. Around 50 employees at Wisconsin-based Three-Square Market have had microchips implanted
between their forefingers and thumbs that are designed to allow them to more easily make purchases

1 Timothy 4:1-5 and 2 Timothy 3:1-5 prophesy changes in people on the earth in the last days.

1 Timothy 4:1–5 (NIV84)1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith
and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through
hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to
marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with
thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good,
and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the
                  word of God and prayer.

2 Timothy 3:1–5 (NIV84)1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will
be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents,
ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers
of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having
a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

These descriptions of the end times are becoming more and more true in our day.

               Jewish Political Preparations
While the Tribulation period will bring the age of the Gentiles to an end, God will again be ministering to
and through the Jewish people. Many of the prophetic events of the Tribulation period, especially as
revealed by Jesus in Matthew 24-25, deal with the Jewish people. Therefore, we should be watching
               the Nation of Israel.

The fact that Israel is back in the land after being gone for over 1,800 years, is a very important
development. In 1948, Israel again became a nation in the land around Jerusalem.

Ezekiel 37:21–22 (NIV84)21 and say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will take the
Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring
them back into their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of
Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be
                  divided into two kingdoms.

At least 10 Biblical prophesies received their fulfillment in 1948 when the Jewish people finally
received their ancestral home in Israel. Amos prophesied that the Jews would once again have the
land of Israel and that they would never be uprooted again. When the Jews were brought back to
the land of Israel it was the first time in 2800 years that Israel was both united and independent,
just as Ezekiel had prophesied. (Dr. Roy Knuteson, Bible Professor Emeritus, Northwestern College)

Isaiah, sometime prior to 681 BC, fore-shadowed the rebirth of Israel in a prophecy that speaks of Israel
being born in a single day. On May 14, 1948, the Jews declared independence for Israel as a united and
