               Activity:  It is interesting that throughout the Bible, God tells us that if we will obey Him and keep His
               commandments so that we will be blessed.  Remember when the children of Israel entered the land.
               They came to Mount Ebal and Mt. Gerizim.  Six tribes stood on Ebal and enumerated the curses of God,
               and six tribes stood on Mt. Gerizim and shared the blessings of God.  Consequences for each were based
               on obedience or disobedience.  It was a picture to the people that if they obeyed, God would bless
               them.  But if they walked their own way, God would bring curses against them.




               We see this truth as we study the history of Israel and Judah.  But this same promise is true today.  How
               have you seen this demonstrated in your life?




               Which way do you want to travel:  The road of obedience or the road of rebellion?
