 which are very appreciated in the Orientalist Paintings. A beautiful Hunting scene. A man
 riding a horse and hunting a deer, with other hunters in the back.


 Biography
 Georges Washington was a French painter. At his birth his father named him under the
 American Hero whom he admired a lot. He was a painter of genre, portraits, typical
 subjects, hunting scenes, horses and a great Orientalist. He was a student of Picot. From
 1857, he participated at the exhibitions of The Salon des Artistes Français during 50 years.
 He obtained many medals. He travelled to Algeria, Morocco, then Hungry, Bulgaria, Turkey,
 Armenia, and the Caucase. His paintings are views of Algeria, Morocco, and include many
 scenes with horses. He travelled to Moscow, where he sold many of his paintings. His
 paintings are exhibited in the Museums of Dunkerque, Lille, Limoge, and Sête.
