Join us as we explore the culinary delights of one of New Zealand’s most picturesque regions, well known for its abundance of seafood, gourmet food, and world class wines. Not forgetting to mention long hot summers and blue-skied winters.
If you are a seafood lover, the food experience on this tour is exceptional!
On one special night we dine at the amazing Arbour restaurant. Our menu is "The Many" a seven course meal paired with Marlborough wines. Our foodie guest is Mike from Meaters who gives us an insight into the preparation and origin of our food as it is served. Paua Pearl is on our list to visit, we'll tour the pearl farm and have ample opportunity to shop. Market shopping is included when we visit the Blenheim markets - if you are a keen photographer, this is the perfect place for street photography. Of course, we can't go past a visit to Wairau River Wines.
One of the highlights is a visit Paripuma where we are treated to a glass of bubbles while viewing what NZ House & Garden Magazine says is, “one of the most awe-inspiring gardens we've featured - a remarkable 4ha garden that marries European design with New Zealand natives”.
The photographic opportunities include capturing images of the rising and setting of the sun over the Marlborough Sounds - we'll be up early and out late for blue and golden hour photogra- phy. A visit to Perlorus Bridge where there is an abundance of native forest and bolder strewn rivers to photograph at this exceptionally
beautiful river flat forest.
