Come join Girls on the Road Again as we head to beautiful Queenstown for two nights. We'll enjoy the gastronomic delights at the Bluff Oyster & Food Festi- val. On this tour “blokes are welcome” so girls, bring your man if you’d like.
The accommodation on this tour is exquisite. In picturesque Queenstown we stay at Nugget Point, a luxury boutique hotel, while at Franz Josef we are staying at the exclusive Rainforest Retreat Deluxe.
We visit Cecil Peak Station, ride the gondola for some awe-inspiring views and panoramic photographic opportunities.
At Franz Josef we experience amazing landscape photographic opportuni- ties including snow capped mountains and West Coast native bush. The helicop- ter flight up to and landing on Franz Josef will be an awesome experience as we enjoy a glass of bubbles (as one does), while photographers will enjoy capturing beautiful landscape images of the Southern Alps.
We board the TranzAlpine train at Greymouth and travel to Christchurch. Along this journey you’ll see epic vistas, travel the edges of the ice-fed Waimaka- riri River, traverse the Southern Alps, and see miles of native beech forest. The TranzAlpine is one of the world’s great train journeys covering 223 kilometres taking just under 5 hours. This is a journey of a lifetime and from the open air
viewing platform, this train journey is a photographer’s dream.
