But now I could see it as plain as day:
The dome was split by a sliver of gray,
Within it a telescope had clearly
Been elevated to point in nearly
The same direction as I’d intended—
That fact kept my disbelief suspended:
Certainly anyone up there would be
Looking for meteors the same as me!
