Dr. Amnuay Thaotrakool
Research and Development Occupational Competency Institute

Amnuay Thaotrakool is the Secretary General of Research
and Development Occupational Competency Institute,
Executive Committee of Distance Educational
Development in Rural Schools Project (initiated by H.R.H
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn), Chairman of Academic
Standards and Quality Assurance, and Chairman of
Subcommittee of Quality Assurance of Vocational
Education Northern Region 2, Thailand.

Dr Thaotrakool currently holds various positions in both
academia and at the National Engineering Institute. He has
conducted research over 120 fields related to
competitiveness and construction innovation. He has
authored many books that focus on occupational
competitiveness guidelines for a sufficient economy,
including lesson plan guidelines, competency
measurements and evaluation guidelines. He is also the
Senior Advisor on research, curriculum development,
educational administration, quality assurance and
sufficiency economy from several Northern, Central and
Eastern leading universities. He was invested with the Knight
Grand Cross (First Class) insignia of the Most Exalted Order of
the White Elephant, and with the Most Noble Order of the
Crown of Thailand given by the King.
