Manufactured from premium AISI 4340 steel, Compstar crankshafts are the

Compstar Comet Forged 4340 Steel Crankshaft
Lightweight, durable crankshaft is constructed from 4340 steel that
has been triple heat treated and nitrided. Comet crankshaft features gun
drilled main, lightened rod, pendulum cut counterweight, a star flange,
and a .125" journal radius.

Forged from premium 4340 steel, big block Chevy crankshafts are
NHRA/IHRA-accepted for Stock Eliminator. Crankshafts are manufac-
tured to exacting requirements and feature .013" longer stroke. Each
crankshaft, which includes standard big block Chevy main and rod
sizing, weighs 67 lbs.
